• “Meron” is a Filipino word for identity and quality and is a revolutionary term in the Philippine Philosophy circle (Fr. Ferriol’s translation of “Being”).
• Teatro Meron is an homage to Fr. Roque Ferriols SJ, beloved teacher of Ron, Ricky and so many Ateneans and philosophy teachers and indicates the philosophical quality of and/or ingredient in its offerings

The logo is the 6 lines that stand in for the two letter E’s of the company name, alluding to “lines” of a script that actors also call for in partial-drop-books rehearsals, while also can be an image of a ladder representing a climb to a pursuit, stages of development, and/or levels of existence.
